The Writers Café Jr. (for children in grades 1 and 3) New curriculum!
Visit and explore the worlds of nature, art, science, and literature while having fun with writing! Each month we will explore a different subject area. This class is geared toward children who are just beginning to write.
The Writers Café (for children entering grades 3-5)
Ever write paper airplane poetry…or an extremely short story? This is a workshop for experimenting with a variety of genres. It’s perfect for children who already enjoy writing…or think they might!
Each child will have at least one of their writings included in our class book, the Writers Café Express, produced at the end of each semester!
Dates: Sept 14, 21, 28; Oct 4, 11; [no class Oct. 18 or 25]; November 2, 9, 16, 23;
December 7, 14, 21; January 4, 11, 18; February 1

Writers Café Jr. Tuesdays, 3:45-4:45 pm
Writers Café Tuesdays, 5:00-6:00 pm

Cost: 16 weeks: $395 plus $20 materials fee (eight week registration also accepted.)
